And of course never knew it would be so long between visits
"This morning I had a little pang in my heart, missing my close ones back home whilst fully realising you're only a phone call away, even thought for a split minute WHAT AM I DOING HERE?
Like really!!!!!??????
It literally took me leaving my hotel, a 50m stroll down the dirty street before sweep ups, dodging cow pooh and rubbish in my overly long dress, making eye contact and receiving genuine connection.
And I am back in my warm soul space.
Every time I come to mind-standstill here, my heart starts moving in a way I've never experienced or felt it before.
Wows out loud!
Not through any therapy, any medicine, any intimate relationship, but to turn inwards!!!
Holy Heavens, all water breaks loose.
Now sitting here in a cafe where they have the Shiva chant on repeat, it appears, and I am bawling so much, almost having to hide in my poncho.
BUT I am not sad.
India has Her way with you....
The sweet spot where vulnerability IS the joy we seek, the minute we turn deeply inwards.
Where we visit the relationship to honesty with ourselves
I tick the box.
This, in my opinion, is true connection, or at the very least when it starts.
And this is why I leave home, to come back 'home"
